Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing your insoles

Which insoles should I choose?

Choose Max Arch Support for flat feet, fallen arches, plantar fasciitis, bunions or overpronation, or if other arch supports flattened under you. Arch elevation: 1.38" / 3.5 cm.

Choose Light Arch Support for tired, aching feet, or if arch supports felt too high or too firm before. Arch elevation: 1.1" / 2.8 cm.

Will this help my pain?

Max is built for flat feet, plantar fasciitis, high arches, bunions and overpronation.

It also eases the knee and back pain that often comes with them.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 1,000+ reviews on Trustpilot.

If they don't work for you, we refund you.

Will they feel too firm?

Max is firmer than most arch support insoles, on purpose.

Other arch supports flatten the moment you stand on them. Max holds up to 330 lbs / 150 kg without collapsing.

Want a gentler arch? Try our Light Arch Support Insoles.

How is Max different from other arch supports?

Most arch support insoles flatten the moment you stand on them. Max doesn't.

Many customers say it works as well as their custom orthotics, or better, because it's firmer.

Do you offer kids' sizes?

Not at the moment.

Adult sizes only. Check the size chart on the product page.

Size and fit

Which size should I order?

Pick your usual shoe size. Use the Men's or Women's tab, the way you buy shoes.

Between sizes? Go one size up and trim the toe.

Still unsure? Email support@orthoflexx.com with your shoe brand and size.

Will they fit my shoes?

They fit most sneakers, work boots, walking shoes and casual shoes.

Take out your shoe's own insole first.

Tight dress shoes and flats usually don't have room for them.

Do you offer wide insoles?

Not yet. Our insoles come in a standard width, not a wide fit.

Wide options are coming soon.

If they feel too narrow, the 30-day money-back guarantee covers you.

How do I trim and fit them?

1. Take the insole out of your shoe. Most are removable.

2. Put the OrthoFlexx insole in, fabric side up, and check the fit.

3. If it is too long, lay your old insole on top with the heels lined up and use it as a cutting guide.

4. Trim a little at a time, only at the toe. The insole should lie flat, with no bunching.

Can I get the bundle discount with two different sizes?

Yes. Add each size to your cart separately.

The bundle discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Yes. Email support@orthoflexx.com with your order number and the size you need.

We'll sort it out for you.

The first few weeks

How long until I feel a difference?

Start with 2 to 3 hours a day and add more each day.

Mild soreness in the first day or two is normal. Your feet are adjusting.

Most people feel relief within 1 to 3 weeks, and manage 8+ hour shifts after 1 to 2 weeks.

If the pain doesn't settle, email us. We'll help you find the right fit or refund you.

Can I move them between shoes?

Yes. Many customers switch them between work boots, sneakers and walking shoes.

Many end up buying a pair for each of their most-worn shoes, so they never have to swap.

Care

How long do they last?

Many customers get a couple of years from a pair.

Replace them when the arch flattens or the top cover wears through.

To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Don't soak or machine wash them.

What about odour?

Sprinkle baking soda on the insoles overnight and brush it off in the morning.

Or wipe them with a diluted vinegar solution and air dry.
